Ok, I know, I'm going to be told to search, but after about 8 hours of searching for this thread, I cannot find it for the life of me. Anyone wanna help a brother out?

It has been done about 100 billion times.
Here is a kit to get you started.

You can source it yourself as well. This kit makes it easier.
The parts there make the 3.4 plug into the 3.0 harness so all your junk works still. You have to figure all that out on your own if you don't get the kit.

Cha Ching $$$$$. Hope you got the motor already.
Not yet, but there's no way in hell I'm putting another 3.0 back in there. Hoping to find a junkyard motor, get it rebuilt for free and put in for a couple cases of beer. I'll let you know how it goes
In all seriousness, thanks guys. I was always on YT, and have found it very difficult to talk 4Runners when mine is in peices and not going anywhere. Glad to find this site, can't wait for the build!!
Good luck keep us posted.
Actually, visit yotatech.com. There are a million guys on there who have done the swap with auto's and manuals. Tons of good info there
Cheese (our resident moderator) has done this exact mod. Hopefully he'll chime in soon!

Don't take it personal, I am not attacking you or anyone else. Read my signature. It is my own opinion.
Thanks for your co-operation
