I need a drop hitch (ball mount). Where do i get one???

Title says it all. Since the change in my rear suspension, i sit a bit taller and i need a drop hitch. From the measurements i have taken, i need a 13" drop. I would settle for 10" minimum though. I have looked around quite a bit and the biggest drops i have found are 8" or so. I found a 11" drop, but the weight ratings werent very high. Just though someone might be able to point me in the right direction. TIA.

what are you towing that needs that low of a ball?

most stock height vehicles use a 2-3 inch drop, so lifting in the rear to 3 inches would produce a 5 inch drop, available at most walmarts, pepboys, etc.

I use a 14" adjustable Drop Hitch, got it here http://www.bryfab.com/. Good Price - Decent Quality. It has a little too much slop due to the adjustable design, I'd go with one of the fixed ones if you know what you need.

    Glad you kept the truck

Ground to top of hitch, 28". Ground to top of trailer coupler, 18". Like i said, i need a 13" drop. I also have a bit more than 3" of lift in the rear. More like 6".

Exactly what i was looking for. Thanks Rob. Good prices also. Going to order a Class III 12" drop right now. That will be plenty enough for my trailer and load. Most i usually carry is a couple bikes to and from the track. Yeah, glad i kept the truck too. Eventually we will actually meet up and do some wheeling. Thanks again.

yeah he does have aftermarket rear bumper guys with integrated hitch

however you dont have 6" of lift, maybe 4.5 as I barely have 6" and i have a 2" BL

do you have a TSC (tractor supply co) out there? they have adj recievers for diesels usually

I do have 6" of lift in the rear. 4" from the LC springs, 1" body lift, 33's, plus i have a custom built rear bumper with integrated hitch. But i guess if you want to get technical, 5" of rear lift. Then there is another inch for the tire size, and who knows about the bumper/hitch. Havent actually measured it. Overall, the hitch is at minimum, 6" above the stock hitch. Sh*t, probably like 10" considering everything. From the measurements i took, the 12" drop should be damn near perfect.

I already ordered a 12" drop hitch from the link Rob posted. 73 bucks shipped. Not too bad for that big of a drop hitch.

That is a cool site. I have a 8"drop but my pop up still sits funky. I should be using a 12" drop myself.

Not a bad price at all!
