    not a funny one

    tragic fail:

i followed this story from the beginning and its a sad one, but the guy went head first into a tiny tunnel in a downhill direction. so far down and half way around a corner that recovery was unsuccessful. now this place is his tomb as they are sealing it off. not a lick of funny in this fail but certainly a fail.

Ok I'm trying to figure out something about the ford. Is there no functioning suspension on that thing? The links are bolted to the steel lift spacers and the springs are flattened to the frame on top. I would just love to take a ride in that fine truck. It probably drives like a big forklift.

    Just plain stupid major fail

Yea that ford thing has the lift kit they made attached to the springs and body it seems. Also seems to have that centerlink welded (and might I add with sucha little pc of metal its amazing) to the diff..

Nope, the springs have stock amount of uptravel/not solid to the frame or body, but it's hard to tell in the pics - might be mistaking the spring plates for the frame or body

I think that weld you're looking at is actually the bracket for the steering stabilizer - scary is the drag link tie rod attachment to the passenger side knuckle
