yea, those LAPD lights are extremely bright....the only thing is that they are kinda big and remind me of legos.

You'll be happy with the P3d. It's like a fricken search light.

Do you mean you have the traditional flash light with the led bulb? if yes, i have the same thing too. but compared to even fenix 3d, its not even a close comparison. but then again, you cant beat the snot out of someone like you can with the maglite
I seem to never have light when I need it, so it was time to upgrade. The Fenix keychain light is brigher than the 4-cell D Mag light mounted in the 4Runner, and I will have that on me all of the time. I also replaced my incandescent 4-AA headlamp that you guys were making fun of in Joshua Tree with a Petzl Tikka Plus LED. Much brighter, way lighter and more comfortable and the batteries will last 100-150 hours. I also just learned that I can do surgery on it and replace the 4 white LEDs with the latest technology from Nichia and quadruple the light output with the same runtime. Geeze, I can't leave anything alone, not even a flashlight.
