Welcome to UltimateYota.com!

We’re glad you found our new home---please take a look around and let us know what you think! The site is still undergoing some minor changes, and accordingly, please expect a few bugs here and there until we get it perfect.

Of course, the burning question we all know you want to ask is, "What happened and why did you all leave Yotatech at the same time?" While we deliberated on what to say publicly for many weeks now, we've come to the conclusion that our energy is better spent building our own community where the membership will not be expected to solely bear the financial burden.

With that said, we have much in store for you, and the core strategy is to involve all of our members in the development and growth of this site. For example, we have begun to populate our UltimateYota Wiki - the first of its kind! With membership participation, the Wiki will become an essential resource for your Toyota! Throughout the site, there are numerous tech articles that we’ve all written over the years. These tech articles will be vetted with your participation and the final version will be migrated into the dedicated UY Wiki. So if you'd like to immortalize your knowledge into a Wiki tech article, just volunteer, contribute, and we'll help you along as needed!

As we always have, the staff here will continue to organize family-friendly trips of all levels of difficulty. The 2007 wheeling season is still young and fast approaching, so keep an eye out in the Trail Run forum. Also, if your personal trips are not being publicized, don’t be shy about posting a get-together of your own. People will join in!

As for our moderating staff, what else can we say except that we are extremely fortunate to have built such a strong, core team of moderators! We owe it all to the strong bonds and personal friendships we've formed with them over these past few years. Oly884, Lee, Fustercluck, Cheese, MTL 4Runner, Localmotion, and newcomer Piett have all put countless hours of effort over the last month into getting our site up and running. Each individual brings their own tech expertise and personalities into the mix. Each of them will be in charge of forums where their knowledge (or wit) is particularly strong---you will all be in good hands. THANKS mods, for being an integral part of our community.

Last but not least, we wanted to let you all know the partners and administrators of this site: we are all the same people we were a few weeks ago, but with a better sense of purpose, a determined financial and ethical clarity, as well as a clear-cut vision on how we are going to make UltimateYota.com your first and final destination when it comes to talking about your Toyota truck or SUV. And as much as we try to build the better mousetrap, our success relies on how well we can integrate and involve all of you in the process. Stick with us, and we hope you will enjoy your stay here at UltimateYota.com!

Sincerely,
Andy, Bob, Lance, Mike, Steve and Tom
