    Skrillah's '97 4runner

    Hey everyone,

I'm not new to the Toyota world but just haven't gotten around to making a garage page. However, now is the time...

My rig is a 1997 Toyota 4runner 4x4 with the 2.7L power-plant. A rare combo indeed with the automatic transmission, 2.7L engine, and the 4.56 gearing. I have had it for just about 3 years now and its successfully been a good money pit. Its got 140k miles on it, just 20k miles or so more than when I bought it 3 years ago.

My list of mods isn't extensive, being a full-time college student up until just recently hasn't allowed much money or time to do everything I've wanted....yet.

Heres a list of a few though:

    Deckplate mod
    Extended rear breather line
    Airlift 1000 in rear
    1-inch leveling spacer up front
    HD Bilsteins all around
    265-75-16 Bridgestone Revos
    Custom 5-spoke Toyota wheels
    Westin light bar
    KC Slimlites
    Yakima Gear
    Custom tool-box
    Synthetic through-out
    Pioneer & Infinity sound system
    Herculined rocker-panels
    Engine block-heater
    Custom mounted Midland CB
    SS 1" Diff Drop

I think thats about it for now, I'm sure I've forgotten a few things so I'll add as I go.

I've spent a lot of time and money into making this rig semi-capable, nothing too over the top yet.I'm hoping to get some money saved to get another ride (car) to help with gas and turn this into the expedition rig and really get it tricked out with bumpers, lockers, etc., etc. I'm a strong believer in preventative maintenance so most of my energy and money has been spent doing that. It doesn't leak or burn a drop of anything and I'm very proud of that. I've been blessed to learn so much from my girlfriend's dad, he's a great man and has taught me to treasure what I have and take care of it. I've learned a lot from him and he continues to help me out with things on my Runner that I don't have the know-how or the tools to do.

    Anyways, enough of that...

Here's some shots, they are in order from the beginning to the end (present).

Enjoy and feel free to PM me if you have questions.

New updated photos. I was hitting that little gulley in 2wd, but the loose dirt gave way and open diffs didn't help. It was no prob in 4wd. Just having a little fun, sorry for the somewhat lame photos. Except for the last one....a clean one!
