I still need lockers, gears, traction bar among other little things.

Last weekend I tore down the axle, cleaned it up (really messy, smelly job ) and got it painted. Then i cleaned and painted the knuckles.

    Here are pics:

This weekend I'll rebuild the knuckles, and take the bed off my truck so i can recondition the frame. I'd also like to get my cases built this weekend if i have time.

    Re: Lee's 1991 Pickup Build

I wouldn't paint the knuckle balls, or the inside of the housing, because the paint will come off and may ruin the felt or get into the Birfield grease. Otherwise it looks great, Mr. Big Spender, I am envious

    Re: Lee's 1991 Pickup Build

got a good amount done.. finished the knuckles, build the dual cases, got a spare 35.

due to the arrival of parts and some maintenance i wanna do on the truck im actually pushing the cut date up a week, so a week from fri it'll start getting sas'd

only 2 pics today... here are my seats... they got a bit dirty from rubbing against my sliders in the bed of the truck, but that's easy to clean.

and here are the dual cases built... ill put the two together once it's in the truck.

went a little nuts with the silicone gasket stuff in that spot bc the tip broke as i went over it

    more soon...
