Where to get a good replacement CV joint

    Hey guys,

I haven't posted here in awhile, mainly cause I haven't had to do much work on my truck But anyways that changed last night when I was going to flush the radiator, got underneath the truck and saw grease splatered from the driver side CV joint. Needless to say I now need to change the cv joint and other than buying OE which I would like to do but don't have the cash for that right now, what's the best after market CV joint to get? I wanted to get some opinions before I go out and buy one. I would like quality aftermaket part that will last a while and not some chinese made crap that I'll have to constantly change.

id say advance, but they all should be ok.

i like advance because ive actually brought them a busted cv and had them hand me a brand new one no questions asked, no money exchanged.

I've been looking at advanced's price's and they are cheaper compared to autozone's, so I might try them. Thanks!

Well I got a "New" cv axle from NAPA for 123 w/tax, not to bad I hope. And they a have lifetime warranty as well so exchange if it breaks!

I looked at who made the cv axle and it was made by interparts. It had Interparts-HX stamped on it. Does anyone have anyone have any first hand experience with these parts? Just a question.

just because you've always done it that way doesn't mean it's not incredibly stupid.

1999 4x4 SR5 4runner
http://www.ultimateyota.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=1 081.0
