94 4Runner: All the Good Stuff<br /><br />[color=grey] 89 4runner: 3.0, Auto, HID's<br /><br />[color=blue]81 2wd pickup: 22r, 5sp, Lock Right, custom seats, Hella 500's on the bumper.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. First post here. I have a 96 4Runner, 2wd, 5vzfe. Check engine light is on, IAC is the code. Replaced IAC, gasket, cleared code but came back on. Idle with new IAC is 1500 rpm after warmup, same as old one. Bougt this 4-runner used, someone broke connector to IAC so wires were connected by other means, but not sure if wiring is correct because of high idle. Top wire white, middle is brown & red, and bottom black & red, wires coming from harness. When i unplugged the white wire, idle went down to about 700 rpm. Can anyone verify correct wire sequence, or would have any other ideas.
