Man that thing is tricked out but I think it needs some bigger mud flaps and curb feelers. I should dig up the pictures I took in New Zealand.Originally Posted by paddlenbike

mike,
yeah, i'm driving up. ill bring that rear axle for you if you want it now. otherwise, it's fine sitting in my backyard. as for the whip, no need, i bought one as soon as i rec'd the base you sent me. but thanks!
and congrats you two. give marin our best!
Hi Bob! We did not do any fishing this year. There was a red tide at the beginning of the trip and we had no phone or email access to find out if it had passed. We spent a lot of time in protected marine parks towards the end of the trip, where you are not allowed to fish anyway.Originally Posted by Bob98SR5
The boat cost less than many SUVs. It took a lot of work to get it to the point it's at today though. Did I ever show you a picture of the galley? The original owner had put in wall-to-wall carpet, which my uncle ripped out, refinished the floors and added seven layers of varnish. They are beautiful now. Lots of work though.

I saw a van similar to this just a couple minutes ago, but it was dark blue. I just about did a U-turn to chase it down and get some pics :P

oh man, i'd love to have a pair of those Skylite Roofs to make a psuedo convertible top for my 85.

I found some more van porn for Chris. The Toyota Lite Ace Camp Mate 4WD.
It was a Toyota concept vehicle. Clearly it didn't make it to market or Ultimateyota Corp LLP would have one.
That's cool looking! It would be awesome for camping. Seems like it would be fairly capable....for being a camper

Wow, that looks pretty cool.
Toyota used to offer, or at least considered, so much.
