    York for the 3.4 liter

Has anyone here had any experience with the mount that Pacific Northwest Offroad Fabrication has put out? From what I can tell it's new and a few guys have done a half install. Reason I ask is that I had a whole York setup on my truck but sold it when I got rid of the truck and moved. Long story short was I didn't want to move it so I sold it for a song. The kit looks easy enough to fab and making room for the compressor doesn't look so bad.

Here you go. I ment to add this the first time. I went ahead and bought the kit, even stopped by a local place and got a compressor. I guess it's just a matter of time now.

What compressor do you use? I had a York 210 with 9 gallon tank on my Chevy. I was totally spoiled and am glad someone came out with something for the 4runner. One problem is that the engine compartment is way smaller so it might get cramped.

CO2 can be really fast, especially with the new monster valve that Powertank has. The York works plenty fast but a tank helps. When Kilby first started they were marketing that the Yorks could be used without a tank. This is true but you're not going to run air tools with it. The output is dependent on engine rpm. Supposity it'll do 6.94 cfm @1000 rpm and 13.89 cfm @2000 rpm (210 model). My old truck didn't have a tach but I had a hand throttle on it. I could run 2 hoses off of the tank and have the compressor kick off while filling the tires.

The system I had on my truck was simple but I remember spending a lot of money setting it up. I think I'm going to keep it simple this go round. I modded the factory York flanges instead of buying some from Kilby. I have a bunch of brass and a pressure switch already. Because there is little room for a tank I think I'll get a small one or have one made.

My compressor has been cleaned up and painted, just waiting on the bracket.
