    Possible engine swap donor vehicle?

Not really that familiar with the lexus engines, but per edmunds it's an inline 6, 3.0 with 200+ hp and torque,

wondering if it is similar to the supra 6? might be fun in my 86 2wd.

It's a 2JZ like the Supra, but the motors are not interchangeable (easily anyway)

It doesn't say what year or if it's a manual trans or automatic. If it's a manual trans, the is300 uses a "W" series transmission. so as long as the vehicle being swapped into has a "W" series trans, the engine should mount up no problem using the is300 bellhousing (IIRC all W trans use the same bellhousing-trans bolt pattern).

you also might also be able to use the Torsen LSD out of the back, I know "is" tuners can use the regular 8" toyota ring gear/pinion
