    Upper ball joint

How hard to pop the upper ball joint? I'm using Ball Joint Separator.

not terribly difficult - if you use the "pickle fork" you will destroy the boot, which isn't a problem if you are replacing the whole thing anyway

I've always used a big 'ole hammer and smacked the knuckle on the side to get them to release (on the side of the bit that the ball joint goes into) - it "shocks" the metal and releases the press fit of the ball joint - if you're replacing though, might as well use the pickle fork

Yes...I'm changing the ball joint its time to replace it. Why I'm doing this is I'm changing the wheel bearings on the front and the back. I will try that now...I will let you know after.
