my step dad is an ex-sheriff/DA and still hasnt been able to get one. i think there are 3 CCW permits in the entire county

As of 2007 there were 1237 permits issued in LA County, http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/forms/pdf/...uances2007.pdf. Who knows who has them though. Very high up people and/or the rich. Hell, Sylvester Stallone and Ben Affleck have one.

Also, I got home and there sitting on my desk was a letter from Utah. Yep, got my Utah CCW permit today. Florida should be on its way, and my CA permit is right around the corner. Now I just gotta figure out what holsters I want.
