Shane, I don't think that rig you saw matches any of the ones we had here. There were plenty of other toyotas out there though that weren't with our group.

My trip report.
I arrived Friday just after lunch and it was way too windy to setup a tent or anything. So we dug some windshielding in front of Mystic's RV rental and spend most of the afternoon hanging out behind or in it (That was a very good idea to get the RV).
Later in the afternoon the wind died down a bit and most folks started coming in. Campsites were setup and the normal festivities took place with food, drink and the normal campfire banter.
Sat morning the weather was pretty good.
So we went out for a group pic.
And everyone one was hanging out on the dune for Lance's briefing.
This made some people sad
And some happy
Some dogs took there owners for a walk
To relax in the sun
Then there were the stray photographers as well
While everyone were trying to get into their trucks
Continued........................................
We then went out in the dunes, were there were a few trucks stuck and some of the normal fun out on the dunes.
Then there were the Ozzies parking on the dunes to take pix of their trucks stuck on the crest
And some more posing
Trying to look cool :cool1:
While other folks simply were just cool hanging out
We then went back to camp for some lunch. Unfortunately the wind picked up again and Mark, Scott and I decided to head out to Garcia Ridge to escape the wind and sand.
I tucked in my ham antenna to avoid low branches and thus we used CB for comms. I then seemed to loose comms with Scott and Mark, and decided to shoot a poser shot on Garcia while waiting for them to catch up.
Fortunately Mark was able to get on the CB eventually and requested me to come back as Scott ran into some trouble on one of the climbs. He pinched his sidewall on a rock and Mark's hi-lift was at camp. It took me a while to get back as the trail is narrow turn around points are limited. Mark and Scott quickly got the flat swapped, once we got some sand out of my hi-lift (note to self , get a cover for the hi-left mechanism).
We then proceeded to go further up Garcia and covered a number of the hills. Mark and I also switched over to ham radio. As we got to a very nice parking spot on the side of the trail to take pix, Lance was able to contact us on the ham. He was way down South on the dunes and we were way up on Garcia Ridge, about 25 miles apart with plenty of hills and mountains. Very cool !!! After we were informaed that the clam chowder dinner was ready, we decided to stop 2 miles form the end of Garcia and head back.
On the way some folks just had to pose

Back at camp we enjoyed some great chowder fro dinner. The organizers then did the prize draws for the raffles, were Jon won way too many prizes gain :jester: I think we need to audit this next year. As last year there were some very cool prizes, and this time round they were made in bundles for a nicer hamper (and to save time).
The night was rounded of with some more campfire chat and drink, while some folks tried grilling chicken and some other small animals on the campfire :jester: At least we ended the night around 1 am vs 2:15am for Friday
Sunday morning everyone started packing and cleaning up the campsite. As usual the site was left in better shape than we got it, which shows the quality of folks coming to the event. Most folks decided to part ways and head home, but Masa (and family/friends), Jon and I headed out to Pozo on the Pozo Rd. Pozo Rd is a nice fun drive and the quickest way (mostly) to get there. We also didn't want to hit too much dirt road as there was a minivan with us.
We had a nice picnic out by the fire station on Hi-mountain rd just before the dirt starts. The folks in the minivan headed home, and the rest of us headed up to the lookout tower on Hi-mountain. After a pretty quick drive we found that the gate was closed and we had to hike the last 1/2 mile to the tower.
So we shot some pix from the tower area towards the ocean
Some group shots with Jon, Amy, Becky and Masa
While we were there some guys were biking up
Garcia Ridge from HI-Mountain
Then I did some paparazzi pix of Amy while walking down (maybe a new career for me)
Continued...........................
On our way back some people thought we need to play in a little stream. But first some inspection was required

Me
Yeah I know, my 4Runner had a tendency to nose dive this last weekend. Especially on the dunes :jester:
Again I just want to thank the organizers for a great event, and also all the folks I met and could chat/wheel with. It is events like these that help to build a stronger wheeling community.
Here are my pics. Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers for putting this event together, we had a great time and met some new UY folks.
