    Cootees 1990 2Dr 4Runner

    • Purchased the 4runner(in mid '05) after two years of searching for one exactly like I wanted. At the time I was looking for something just to take camping every once and a while with an occasional offroad run.

As she sits when I bought her(although it was a little bit cleaner)

      As she sits now(kinda).

    Marlin rear bumper is on.

    Factory bumper and hitch removed.

    MC Bumper on.

Spare tire rim was powdercoated in satin black as well. I need to mount it on my full size spare sometime this week.

We also test fit the 35x14 tires that jeremy has and I was quite impress how well they fit under the 4runner. the 14" wide tires obviously would rub a bit but with a 12.50, I could fit those with little to no rubbing.

So since I know I can fit 35's with the way it sits now I am thinking about possible moving up to a 35 or 36 when I do the sas and a small body lift(for a drivetrain lift)

A lot has happened since I updated.

Rear differential took a dump. Replaced it with an e-locker differential from a trd edition tacoma.

    IFS Fell off.

    Hung a spring.

    Hung an axle.

    Put it on the ground.

Decided to keep coils in the rear I had to lift the rear a bit more to level it with the front.

    OME860

Stock fj80 on the left. ome 860 on the right. As you can see the height is relatively the same but more wraps and much heavier allows and additional 2" of lift plus it with the heavyness of the coils it should help stiffen up the rear a bit.

Just a hair higher in the rear but they'll settle. The springs should work out excellent
