    Brown Bears Eating Dead Whale

    I just received this pic in an email.

    Info is spotty but it supposedly somewhere on Kodiak Island and the unnamed pilot said there were just as many bears on the hill above as there were on the beach

    Pretty cool!

    It's hard to see, but it's right in the middle of the picture. It looks almost white. Pay attention to the waves and you'll notice they stop in the middle of 4 bears.

    Erich, whats the difference in brown bears and kodiak bears?

    I know that brown bears and grizzly bears are genetically the same species, just the seperate regions, and thier dietary differences seperate them and have spawned the two nomenclatures.
