    in case anyone needs to know how to disassemble a D cell Maglight

    or just take it to Mag light in Ont and have them warranty it

    DUDE! Those are expensive as hell (for a flashlight) - but thanks for the links, it opened my eyes to a whole new bunch of "cheap" projects I can do in the next few weeks - everything from brighter light (another link<- this one has good beam pics) to turning it into a burning laser

    I got that flashlight a couple of years ago because I had some money burning a hole in my pocket. I think it was actually on sale.

    It's a cool light and super bright. I was going to make an LED one but good parts are usually hard to come by. A lot of the switches, heat sinks and reflectors are hand made or made in small quanities. If you can find one it might be used or really expensive.

    I think my next light will be a P7 fired mag.
