Yeah, Keith, I may have the 1" like you said. I went on rock auto (I think that was the website) and it shows the 4runners w/ ABS changing to the 1 1/16" in '94. Overall this is very confusing. I'm uploading pics of what I have at the moment.

    Edit: Pics
    S13WB

MC it has no 1" or 1 1/16" marking on it (Shane, I think the problem is that your engine bay is too clean. )

the simplest way to tell is to look for a cast bore size on the master cylinder, though not all MCs have one for some reason (after market replacements?) *edit* just saw your post about no markings

I checked napaonline, my favorite resource though not infallible, and up to '96 (and possibly after that yet, didn't check) they were all 1" bores. After '95 they changed the mount to a 2 bolt mount instead of the 4 bolt mount like we have.

the pic you posted does look that same at the 1-1/16", but they may have used the same casting (externally the same) while just boring the insides a bit wider . . . with no external markings, the only way to tell would be to pull it apart, unless you've owned it from new and know the MC wasn't replaced or upgraded to a different size

    Re: Master Cylinder upgrade?

Okay, try this, I googled PN 47201-34040 which is the toyota pn for the t100 1 ton MC

    and I got this:
    http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...&parttype=1836

now you should be able to scroll down and it will pop up the t100 MC's and then you can scroll down and hit 1994 and click 4runner sr5 and then brakes and get to the MC's. For 94 it shows both 1 1/16" and 1", but then go to 93 and do the same thing and it only gives 1". The cool thing is that all these can be done at once so you can scroll up and down to compare or hit the part numbers for more info.

Either way it would appear that I have 1" although mine doesn't appear to have any cast on it.

No, your just jealous that mine stops fine with the parts it came with.

Actually, just trying to educate myself and figure out what parts I have. Oh and the dust on my engine bay helps to collect any oil and keep it off my driveway. Except for my leaky front diff, that finds the driveway right away.

    Re: Master Cylinder upgrade?

Did you ever switch to the t100 calipers?

Cause I found out some important info over at 4x4wire:

Apparently the reg mini trucks and runners use 18mm thick rotors. All t100 trucks use a larger 25mm thick rotor. This means that the caliper mounting bracket may be different as well. So be careful
