Changing the look up, got some 17" FJ Cruiser Alloys and 285x70r17 BFG All-Terrains. Definitely awesome looking, and not too many 4Runners with these rims which is a plus IMO.

Installed a tranny temp gauge to keep an eye on transmission temperatures. It's an AutoMeter Digital, and fits nicely down by the shifter.

    Installed picture of the gauge:

Installing the gauge was very easy. For the hole I used a 2" hole saw; the gauge fits very snugly in it.

Added some auxiliary lighting to the front for those dark roads. Hella 500's and replaced the fog lights with cheapo Wal-Mart H3 mini-driving lights. The combination overall works well.

Went and wandered around in the mountains, cycled the suspension a little to test the fender trimming. Everything clears pretty well

I decided the Hella 500's weren't bright enough, so I upgraded to some Hella 700FF's and added a DDM Tuning 55W HID conversion kit. They are very bright, and I'm much happier
