I'd offer to ship it, ($4-10 w/ breakage insurance..I'd claim a $100 value w/ UPS) but even if properly padded it still falls into the open bottle transport law and would probably be stopped by some overzealous inspector. If I was to drive I'd have to keep to the speed limit, I can just see a sobriety test being completely sober going on.
