My vote goes to the 5-spoke 4Runner wheels. 2nd vote goes to LX450 rims, followed by the LC rims.

I like the LC rims, I like how they dish in, the 5spokes look like they would really like to rub some rocks.
On the other hand, they both are cool.

LC wheels are an over-rated internet trend IMO. Unless you need the extra inch, like seanzorz mentioned.
LX450 wheels are bananas, however.
Actually considering your track record, I would go with whatever ones will hold their resale value the best.

LC, you have a choice of going with either 265/75 or 285/75 without rubbing issues. both have the same BS, LC is 16x8 vs LTD 16x7, so the LC makes the tires sticking out 1" more.
draw back is the LC wheels won't clear the tundra brakes without trimming.

i switched from the 5 spokes to the lc wheels not too long ago, didn't have anything to do with an internet trend though. running 285s or above i feel more comfortable with an 8" and I actually made money off the swap. i love both rims, but with all the factors i liked the cruisers more
