    2nd Gen Engine Swap

Ok so i have a 95 sr5 toyota and apparently the head is warped, now i've been told that this generation is pron to these problems so i was wondering if i would be able to swap the engine out for the next gen v6 i was just wondering how much fabrication that would require and if its even do-able. any advice would be appriciated.

    Thanks

Though I haven't needed to do it myself, I understand it is a bolt up conversion. I can poke around the site later and link the info here or you could if'n you don;t want to wait for my old bones.

You'll need a 3.4 to swap in and the ECU. It's a fairly popular swap.

Swapping in the 3.4L (5VZ-FE) is fairly easy as engine swaps go. I did one a few years ago.

    - It bolts in (motor mounts are positioned correctly and mates to tranny)
    - You can buy a conversion wiring harness (the hard part of the wiring is taken care of with this)

IIRC, I have a fair ammount of info on the swap over on TOF (YotaTech).
