    IFS Suspension Question

Are the IFS suspensions the same on 89 and 90 model 4runners and trucks?

Thanks for your answers in advance

    Re: IFS Suspension Question

I found a procomp lift from a guy who has an 89 and I have a 90. I was just wondering if it would work out on mine.

    Re: IFS Suspension Question

Well, in that case, I think they're the same, but not 100% sure. I don't know if all the mounting holes and such are exactly the same.

    Re: IFS Suspension Question

The only differences I have found between 1st and 2nd gen IFS suspensions is in the ball joints (lower) and idler arm shaft diameter. None of those impact the lift kit though so it will work on either.
