very simple. use some jack stands to place rails. cut tubes to length. cut out pinch weld if necessary. weld up. put gussets on

pretty simple, basically just how DTB said, but I would also recommend plating the frame where you are going to put them first. I wish I had done that, I've gone back and gusseted them, but if I did it over, I'd plate the frame first. And when/if you plate them, weld them so that looking straight at them, they look like diamonds.

    this is a gusset

you would weld that between the leg of the sliders, and the frame. if I were you, I would definitely plate the frame, and gusset after yo uweld to the plate. That way, you spread the stress placed on that leg (and the gusset if you use one) over a much larger area. I didn't do that on mine, and before I got creative with some steel, the whole sidewall of the frame would flex, and I would get contact with the pinch seam, meaning my sliders would move up and down about 3/4" Thats a lot of movement when you're talking about a 5" leg made out of 1 3/4 sched 40 pipe

Re: How do i mount the MC rock sliders?????

DTB, since you've got that gusset on there, you should be alright  I wish I had plate mine before hand, but I gusseted mine the day before our last moonrocks trip, so I had mabye 1 1/2-2 years of runs with just the legs welded to the frame. They were sturdy when I first did it, but the flexing got worse as the sliders got used
