Bruce jumping with a cracked cross member :

FJ Cruiser blew a diff and got towed out by Lance:

Bruce giving a "how to plug a tire tutorial":

    It was pretty foggy:

And on my way out to LAX, I flew over on this (picked this flight just for the plane). Hard to tell the scale in this picture, but the engines are huge...each GE engine puts out just about twice the thrust of Delta's PW 747 engines. This is currently the longest range commercial aircraft flying:

    Re: '09 Pismo Jamboree

I've posted elsewhere but just wanted to say thanks to everyone. Chris and Lance do an awesome job, I can't imagine how many logistics must go into this event. It was great to see faces I haven't wheeled with for the longest time - nice to feel the connection rolls on tho.

On behalf of Overlandwarehouse.com I'd also like to thank everyone who swung by and either bought, browsed or offered words of encouragement on our new venture. We are small but sincere in trying to develop a really good range of products at outstanding prices for the offroad community, and we aim to treat every customer as a friend. We feel privileged to be associated with Pismo Jam 09.

I hope the damaged vehicles get repaired with minimal cost and frustration to their owners. I feel really sorry for the yellow FJ. Hope to hear the outcome of the repairs.

Once again, thanks everyone, a great trip!

Great pics everyone! Keep them coming. Also be sure to email your pics to Lance.

I'm still working on my trip report, but something finally showed up that was supposed to be here a week before the event. I just wanted to show it off.

Also, I finally got my stickers put on the 4runner and the van. Thought I would show how I stacked them to show the years.

*sigh* i've missed it two years now. which is ridiculous because its only a few hours away for me... looks like you all had a blast. I'll definitely put the effort into going next year, since lately i've been modding my truck and is no longer stock >
