    Hiking in Georgia

    I have no idea what section to put this in but here it is

    Basically i was wondering if anyone in the georgia area knows where I can go hiking with medium technicality and a river/view that I can see. and stone mountain doesn't count.

    just need to get my but on the trail again, wish I was in colorado for this but such as life

    well nothing around here compares to CO.
    Try up around Amicalola falls Blake. From there to Springer Mtn is a 9 mile trail. Springer Mtn is the official start of the Appalachian Trail.
