Can anyone offer some help on a 98 Honda Civic? Fan related.

My sister called me last night, needing some help on her car. Apparently her a/c, fan, heater aren't working properly. She said when she's driving and turns her fan on high, she gets very little air, says its like its set to low. When she comes to a stop, theres no air at all. Just looking for general idea's of what it could be.

I know very little about a/c and heater systems so I come to you all looking for a little advice to shoot her way. Any help would be great. She lives on the other side of the country so I can't hop on over to take a look.

Check the HVAC fan fuse. The sensation of the air on low while driving is the outside air coming in unassisted. When she slows, so does the airflow since the vehicle isn't moving.

If the fuse is good, the fan motor might be bad.

    That's my guess anyway...
