    haha, i gave jason his second chance to use his winch at Pismo last week :-P... i high centered myself sitting on both diffs, the gas tank skid, the transfercase skid... haha, trying to climb a 4ft wall

    Not being a hater but, From the video I could not see a winch cable dampner or blanket on the cable. Just curious if I just couldn't see it or if you didn't use one. The guy didn't look like he was in a good position while the cable was under load, especially if the cable wasn't dampened

    Good question I'm not sure what the proper thing to do is. Thanks for clearing that up From the fuzzy video those are things you can't see..

    and smittybuilt killed the bling factor on our winches by giving them silver rope lol. who makes sythetic to look like cable...honestly... lol

    My synthetic rope is purpleish, but I'm colorblind so I don't know
