ok ive got the latest news and this is what the roads are set up as
"Open with chains required on all vehicles except four-wheel drives and all-wheel drives with snow tires."
so we are all set with our 4x4. i read that to mean all-wheel drives aka cars need snow tires
they are expecting 2-3 feet of snow. so that means drifts as high as 4 feet probably at a max. this might be pretty tough depending on how light the snow is.
either way me and you scuba will need something in front of the radiators if we are going to be plowing show. ive got some cheap gutter filter type stuff...
ill update some requirements

yea the snow will be up around that level if it gets deep and we may be plowing so you could jam a stick in there or a piece of ice. my stuff really sucks but it will work for now.As in a more of a "hidden in the snow debris protection" or what ?

Joe is out plowing snow on the 15 FWY right now! Last I heard it was shut down from the 138 to the top of the pass.
