thanks for bumping the thread, it was the motivation i needed to post up here.
we just spent some time up in big bear (full report to come soon) and traveled over to the usual camp site for a few reasons, one being to check it out and see the conditions. when we pulled up, we found this:
RATS! FOILED AGAIN!
the other two entrances look like this:
so looks like we are to find a new place to camp. any suggestions? i was looking at the group camp options and i kind of like that. there are a few that are pretty centrally located to our trails. let me know what you guys think, i have no problem handing all of it, and we will all split the cost evenly on a per vehicle basis.

Sean go for it with the group camp thing!... I would do it i'm just so damn busy with work right now just keep in mind I have to get my rig and trailer in there I have Tony's trailer its shorter but only about 5 feet shorter
