on a related note, i purchased the hella supertones (or duotones?) horns from performance products when i bought my 99 truck. they sounded like BMW horns. while very loud and piercing, they sound too european-ish. definitely not a truck horn, but did the job well

took a set of factory horns off my sisters 97 vw jetta there great nice and loud best part was they where free as the car was totaled

so the freeway blasters are a direct swap? meaning no extra wiring/relays, right?

all i did was tap into the factory wireing and ran a ground for the horns thats all takes like 10mins at most
