3rd gen holy grail...

I drove past one of the local small dealerships in town earlier, and saw a 3rd gen 4runner, the sticker said 4x4 and $1990... so i went to look, its a 1997 Limited Auto WITH E-Locker.. 180k miles... Seriously someone who wants to wheel needs to pick this thing up. I totally would if i hadnt just spent lots of money fixing up my 2nd gen >.<

1990? Really? That seems too cheap. BTW holy grail is neither a limited or 5 speed (IMO).

well ok, it wasnt a highlander... but it does have an e-locker... i didnt drive it as i was in a little bit of a hurry to get somewhere, but it looked very clean for the mileage.. and its not a 5sp, its an auto. :-P

Good find though. If you don't have all the cash maybe you can find someone to go in on it with you. You guys could flip it and split the cash. Might be worth finding a phone number and asking about it.

It took me a awhile to find my 5spd highlander and almost 2 years before it got an elocker.

im debating on it just for the engine and elocker to swap into my 2nd gen :-P

but i already have a loan on my bimmer, and im in too much debt atm...
