    Norcal Trip Pics

A few of us Norcal folk ran the Pardoe Trail in the Sierras this weekend and had a great time. The parties involved (from this forum anyway) include myself (paddlenbike), Mike (4x4mike), Scott and Molly (Scotiac), Matt (Slomatt), and Geoff (Piett) in the Jeep and our friend Bill.

The trail runs along Squaw Ridge and offers amazing scenery, great places to camp and a variety of terrain that offers a challenge for both stock and modified rigs. You could probably careless about the text, so on the photos:

that is some awesome scenery ken! looks like we will have to make a point to go up there.

glad to see you back on the trail! a bit off topic, but how is the recovery going? its been well over a year, and a year since i saw you last at pismo, where you were still a bit roughed up! we are glad to see you are doing well enough to at least drive around!

Thanks Sean! Recovery is coming along. A month ago was hiking 8 miles per day in Italy, whereas a year ago I couldn't walk at all. Went waterskiing last weekend, so I can safely say that part of the recovery is coming along quite well. My right wrist is beyond repair though...very little range of motion and some associated pain, but so far it hasn't limited me too much. Thanks for asking.

I only have 6 photos loaded up right now so here they are. Northern California has a lot to offer and this trail had everything you could have asked for. It was a lot of fun to travel around with everyone and nice to have multiple spotters as this trail got a little harder since the last time I was on it.

And a little bit of Jeep love. I think Geoff felt the way I did when I brought a Chevy to the Pismo Jamboree.
