    CB mic mount

I had a little time so I built me a mic mount. I have recently switched over to a Cobra 75 WX st from an 18 WX ST II and needed a place to put the mic. I don't like stuff flopping all over the place and most of the time my passenger seat has my wife in it. I also don't like drilling some holes in the dash for stuff like this. The Cobra 75 has the receiving speaker in the mic so some talk can be missed if it's face down on the ground or in the seat. Because of this and it's size I decided to make a simple mount. Pretty easy with a couple of 1.25" strips on 12g steel. I have a manual transmission and this mount mounts with 2 of the 4 bolts that hold down the tranny shift boot and bezel in the transmission tunnel.

    With the Cobra on it.

HAM mic fits on it as well.
