Well, not exactly what I was going for as my next car,
but with the grim reaper on the GTI's Hatch and me driving 70+ miles a day to work
something more reliable was needed badly.

So I struck a deal with friends of mine on there 2005 Camry LE, and no it wasn't for a $1.
They car is immaculate for the number of miles on it.
The PO of the car always had it dealer services and where the kind of people that would stand next to the tech and go "Did you top off that fluid, did you check that fluid level?"

The car has a little over 85K on the ODO.
Since its the LE its pretty basic
2.4l VVT-i I4
Auto Trans
Power Windows
Power Locks
Power Drivers Seat (no heated seats )
CD Player only.

On to the Pics:

As you can see no sunroof either, but if it really is a Nice day to have a Sunroof, I will probably take the 4Runner out anyway.

I do have plans for this car, but not as extreme as the ones for the GTI.
All modifications will be and upgrade of everything but in stock form.

Performance:
Nothing, Its going to be my DD not my Toy.
Its plenty of power and get up and go.

Drive-ability:
The only thing I am thinking of doing here is a rear disc brake conversion.
I think this is possible since the SE and XLE package came with rear discs.
I think if I can find an SE or XLE in a junk yard that was in a front end wreck,
I could just pull the entire spindle assembly off of the strut and such and then transfer it over to my car,
which on the LE package only came with drums in the rear.

Style:
Exterior:
Not to much here, again keeping it stock.
Upgrade the headlights to the SE style which are blacked out instead of chrome.

Change Grill to SE black mesh grill.

Change Rear Badges to blacked out SE badges.

OEM fog lights

OEM rear spoiler

OEM 16" Alloy rims

Tint (not so much OEM but still will make the car look nice)

Interior:
Not to much here, again keeping it stock.
Change stereo to stock Toyota equipped with a Tape Deck, 6 Disc CD Changer, and Satellite Radio.

Yes this was an option for the car, already found two on eBay for a decent price.
A Tech at work threw the idea of Nav to, but I have my phone and a GPS already, don't really need another NAV.

Stock Premium Speakers
Anything is better then what the base model came with.

Contemplating getting the wood trim or silver metal for the Radio Bezel and window controls.

Stock Black Camry Floor mats
Being a tech and stepping on brake dust, oil and so on every day, shoes get dirty, the nice thing about the GTI was it was all black interior, hid that dirt well, this is all beige, have to battle it a bit somehow.

I am keeping it stock cause honestly I might not keep it that long.
I was hoping the GTI could have held out till early next year so I could have saved up for a decent down payment on an IS250, but that plan just didn't happen.

I am just pleased that I have a car that I don't have to worry if I am going to make it to work, or home every day.

Oh and I think I am going to call her swordfish.
If you have seen Cowboy Bebop the anime you would get the reference.
