Selling my 1985 Xtra Cab Pickup

Selling on Ebay, click the link to bid now. $3500 buy it now. Be the second coolest guy on this site!!

Copied from my auction, I know it is a little over the top but people ask odd questions.

1985 Toyota Pickup xtra cab. 22re 4cyl, rebuild head, over sized stainless steal valves and TRD cam. New timing chain( all done 5 months ago). Engine runs strong and smooth.

Newer clutch and clutch master and slave cylinders (Just over a year and around 1000miles). New brakes, rotors, calipers, master cylinder (Year an half ago).

Rebuilt front axle, seals, and lock out. Front and rear differentials re-geared 4.88 with a Detroit locker in the rear. Rear axle is from a newer truck and is a few inches wider than the original 85 axle.

Body is in decent shape, repainted few years ago. Some rust and small hole on each side of the bed. Both sides are affected just in front of the rear tire. Bed has been "bobbed" shortened 17inch with matching topper shortened too. Partially complete steal bumpers/rear swing out tire carrier and full size spare.

It is lifted 4-6inches and has long travel shocks with ford bronco front tower mounts.( To increase wheel travel and prevent damage to the shock) Interco TrXus Mud terrains have 80-90% tread left (half inch deep), spare is not matching.

Currently has a small oil leak because I had to use a junk yard front pulley that was warn out of spec. Has new main seal however. Interior is mostly complete, but I have most pieces needed to finish. (50% gray and black and 50% brown )

I have upgraded the headlight harness to run off the battery with relays ala Rodger Brown for much better lighting. Electronics and lights work properly. Dash has all red lights and generally looks cool. Lots of little odds and ends I am forgetting I am sure. This has been a play truck and I loved tinkering with it.

It also has my beloved 4runner SR5 seats. I believe them to be the best seats in the world and they have been in several of my Toyotas now. I would put them in my new 4runner, but they don't match and my wife said no.

Quite a few spare parts, extra parts, and who knows what.

Email questions, request for pictures, or to see/drive

Few more pictures of bed bobbing and shock towers - These where when paint was fresher, does not show the rust on the bed. Around 2 years ago. (copy and paste into your browser)

    Bump...

Must not be the only broke ones.... People haven't been bidding or anything.. 2000 views, 40 watchers, 6 bidders, and only $760 now...

Talk your buddies into this one.. I got the reserve set ridiculously low at $2000
I will feel a little butt hurt if it goes for only that.
