Thread: I made this

    I made this

ok ok, its not much, but thought Id share lol

I got an embroidery machine and making some small stuff, the first thing Ive always kind of wanted to make is a custom winchline pull.

Now remember, Im still learning this machine, lol once I learn the machine, then Ill practice on shirts. Right now Im going to do winchline pulls and fabric or ribbon keyfobs with the custom embroidery on them.
    Enough talking

Now in this pic, you can see I didnt line it up right, so the text "Ric" isnt centered lol

    With the winch hook:

Here you can see I made a loop or handle, making it easier to actually pull, the winchline:

The sad thing is, I really only have time on the weekends to play or learn the machine, but its kind of cool, I can make them the way I want, with my name or website

That's cool. Not sure if I'd want a loop for your hand, because you wouldn't want to have you hand get caught in there. Kind of the same principle as having quick disconnects for lanyards that go around necks.

    Steve,
If I was to sell one, YES it would be closed, or NO hoop, I dont want to be responsable lol

Mine is a different story, and Im just playing with the machine, its for more than I thought it was.

a smart user (IE no one other than yourself) would know enough to use the hoop to pull it out, but fold it flat to feed it back on the drum, like a standard strap.

looks pretty cool. I have a ton of free ones I've collected, and usually just leave one on the front of the truck until it falls apart enough for me to want a new one on there.
