    Birthing another baby

So the time has come once again. My wife is 9 months pregnant and due sometime soon. I figured I'd start another little post just because. Here is the baby #1 story: http://www.ultimateyota.com/index.ph...6&topic=7466.0

She is starting to have mini contractions but those have been around for about 5 weeks. Only difference now is that she's at 40 weeks

Chances of things starting tonight are high because I didn't really set things up at work yet to be gone, I've been up since 5am, worked all day and raced a mountain bike race tonight (complete is a crash that may result in some wicked poison oak). She, myself and my now 3 year old are ready to meet our son. If it works out I'll post up some stuff as it comes along.

Boy. On April Fools I played a joke on my parents and Facebook friends that we had twins. Alas, no twins but Maggie is super excited to be a big sister. She pretty much has the first years of her brother's life planned. It includes lot of reading, playing, walking, eating and going to the park. Sounds good to me.

Painful contractions are starting. They aren't too bad but they are different than the ones for the past couple of weeks. So much for trying to sleep. I need to throw some Rockstars in the fridge.

We actually went to sleep around midnight so I got about 5 hours in. She slept all night and seemed fine so I came into work. As I was walking in the doors I get a call from her saying the contractions are still there so it looks like it'll be a short day. I've got my bike with me and intend on leaving early that way I'm not forced into a 23 mile individual time trial just to get home.

Today was pretty chill. We hung out, I got a bike ride in, did my yard and the neighbor's, we went out for lunch and made a nice dinner. I imagine things will fire up again tonight when we start to get tired. Marin went to the store the other day and stocked up on somethings so we wouldn't have to go out for awhile. I looked around and didn't see much so I went out for a few things just to make sure we were good.

I think I was thirsty while walking the isles. The checker was a young guy and said, "Wow, looks like you're having a party." Me, "Not so much."
