I think buying carbon offsets is dumb. Doing stuff do reduce your impact is cool but paying for offsets is just retarded.

If it really does go towards funding research for other energy sources, I'd rather invest with a chance for returns rather than just blindly give my money away to someone who made a fancy website.

For the record, my '89 van had the least impact out of my vehicles.

Like you said, there is good information on there and gadgets which is always cool.

Still don't like it that it is all just to help them sell carbon offsets.
