Oh you have no idea how much I don't want that runner going over there.
I told my mom to just get a Diesel truck there but she refuses to listen.
I guess I have a lot of work cut out for me.
I have seen obnoxious jeeps and Hummers sent over there so...

I had originally planned on getting front and rear after market bumpers put on, as well as some sliders, and put the higher 99 coils on it (it's and 02) and some all-terrains and call it a day.

I guess I am going to have to modify the tail pipe now to get to come out the back, which shouldn't be too much of an issue with and aftermarket bumper.

I still really really don't want to send it over.
I wanted to keep it as a DD here while I built up my truck more.

Where is it going?
NL (netherlands) for example will need that truck to be inspected if you want to use NL plates. Over there they have a monthly road tax system, and the cost is based you the weight of the vehicle.
Toyota (preferable rusted ;)) bumpers & small tires are your friend for the weigh in at the inspection.
I don't know what all countries do for example, but do find somebody locally with a similar vehicle.
I was looking at NL, and talked to 4Runner4ever on Yotatech. By looking at a pic of my vehicle he noted a couple of things that would fail me. Haveing a north american (non EU approved) trailer hitch fill fail simply because it's there.

Maybe you're going somewhere else, and they are easier going over there. NL & Scandinavia are like California in the US I think. Lots of rules and taxes compared to other parts of the continent.

But whatever you do, don't let your kid alone on the scooter while the engine is running - this guy found out the hard way.

funny story about opossums. back in the 60's my uncle and his best friend came across one, they were about 10 or so. somehow they managed to catch it, and took it to the local newspaper, reporting they had found the worlds biggest rat.

I call BS on the story about that Jetta. The cop that could only say to cut some of the long twine could have stopped that rig. If they pull people over for burnt out tail lights, he has some recourse to stop them for that load. There are laws about properly securing loads and max GVW plus many others that they could be stopped for. He should have called a state trooper if he didn't know the laws. :chair:

On a side note, my little brother used to load cars at Home Depot and he had some of the craziest stores of how people expected to get supplies home.
