Project 4wd Last step Finalized....Pismo pics

It was a last minute thing I came up with to escape the heat wave with a buddy Headed out 5:00am sharp and arrived there 8:00am. If you guys recalled the last pismo trip I had, I needed numerous tugs from other members mostly from BruceTS thanks to the 2wd status and cheesy tires

So this time I decided to fly solo and see how far I can get without getting stuck. All I can say is that we had a blast just roaming around the place without getting stuck. This place got packed at around 9:30ish....we headed out to Splash Cafe at 11:00am and there was a line getting in.....On with the pics

Paid the entrance fee and pulled off the side near the entrance for first few pics. Was still in 2wd and was kinda of stuck, so I threw it in 4wd and headed in.....Best feeling ever

    Ferrari in Pismo????

How do I end up swashing a fly?

Now on the way home....just before passing Calabasas near the Ferrari and Lambo dealerships, I had a super close encounter with blue Ferrari. My front bumper was less than a feet away from his rear bumper because he tried to avoid hitting a blownout tire on this lane

Took this just before he ran in front of me

Your brave to go to the dunes on a weekend this time of year, it's a flippin' zoo out there and it's not even really bad yet.

I'm bummed I missed you, next time shoot me a PM just in case.

Can't wait to see it in action soon.

Did they air down the tires on the Scag for the sand? That's crazy...

To get to where he is at, you shouldn't need to air down in any 2wd, unless it was really high tide and had to drive in the soft sand.

also remember that those tires are FAT on that car. and it doesnt weigh all that much.

I did air it down to 20psi as I aprroached the fenced off area near the end because of the high traffic....didn't get stuck or anything....I just noticed that it took a little more gas than normal so I aired down a little

I also decided to take on a couple of small jumps....mis calculated the second one and took a really good beating. All I could remember was the hard impact going up and all of a sudden a wall of sand came up. Forgot that the back windows was half open, ended up with a good amount of sand in the back seats and a dented subwoofer because I forgot to tie down the Hi-Lift

Yeh, the end can get pretty soft from everyone turning around. I usually air down if I'm going into that area, it's pretty funny to watch people get stuck there in their street cars.

Doh! You're lucky that hilift didn't take out a window! We'll be sure to get pics of you jumping at P4RJ.
