    Re: YotaFun's Tess (97' SR5 4Runner)

Well I thought I would update this with the life of Tess:
This is how I got her November or 05:

First Time Wheeling (I was a fool and new to the world of off-road driving, and I actually lost the stock skid in that muck lol!!!):

Second Time, Running boards off, and my last days of saying I love mud:

Thrid Time Wheeling (Rear seals went and both front rotors wasted, so she sat there for a month till we had the money to get teh work done):

    Hitting 100K:

My First actual Wheeling trip on real trails (anything before that I told myself was mudding, not off-roading , oh and my a/c compressor bearing went):

    Second Time Actually Wheeing:

Third Time Wheeling at Rausch Creek (first times where at Paragon R.I.P. PAP):

    Then The Accident:

Went on a 4Th wheeling Trip but she stayed in the lot, she wont be on the trails from now till she is Locked, Lifted, and has sliders :-D:

    Now just some poser pics:

Some Poser pics of stepdads and mine (Which I hope one day I get as a DD):

I also promised myself that the day she is lifted she gets her first stickers.
So I finally put some on.

Since I will be getting mostly everything I need from Northridge, and them sponsoring Pismo 08 I put some NTP swag on:

No you may have noticed that she is de-badged. What I am doing is changing the badges around to look more like the 99+ style rears.
This involves moving the Top 4Runner Badge to the Left, The SR5 badge to the Top Right and adding the 4WD Badge with it which was not available on the 96-98, and keeping the Toyota Letter Badge on the Lower Right, and the Toyota Symbol Badge stays Right where it is.
Also I will be doing the black pearl emblems but thinking of changing it up a bit a putting a little red in there to match the Suspension, brakes and Satoshi Mod.

    Re: YotaFun's Tess (97' SR5 4Runner)

Well I need to update this thread a little bit.
Since my last post I have done the following:
E-Locked and switched to 4.30 Gears
    Sliders
    1.5" Body Lift

    First Diff Change and E-Locker
Thanks to Wab for getting me the diffs!

So heavy that they about made the suspension sit level again...

Cheesy shot of me really happy:

    Install:

    By By Old Diffs!

    Sliders:

Pictures of the body lift later.

    Also picked up these:

They have my center caps on them while I took the caps that came with them on my current rims.
they are off of a 97' T-100 but are the limited.
Plans for them is to clean them up and then paint them and run a 33 BFG AT for DD and with my current rims I will paint them white, yes WHITE and run the 33 MT retreads for the trails.

    Re: YotaFun's Tess (97' SR5 4Runner)

No process pics since my camera was being a pain and it was late and my fingers were covered with paint so....

But here are some pics of the new shoes...

No Mastacox FJ rims but they def do the job!

    Re: YotaFun's Tess (97' SR5 4Runner)

So now that the locker is working, its time to address the very stiff suspension I have up front:

    All-Pro UCA's

One need to be rebuilt, but other then that going to clean them, paint them, get new washers and put them on.

    All-Pro Extended Coilovers:

Going to clean them up and paint the coils again and install them.
These are 500lb coils, I figure they will give a little more,
I do have a set of 600-lb coils to put on, but I will wait till I get a front bumper and winch to do so.

Also going to be doing an on-board air set up:
