    Wheeling at Bob's

We have a local wheeling spot about 3 miles from my house. I finally got everything to connect and got to go out with some other members of the local 4x4 club i am apart of.

The Jeep people out number us Toyota's pretty good so i was the only Toyota in attendance and of course i spend more time wheeling than taking pictures so there is only a couple pics of the 4runner.

    Pics:

    driveway going in

    buddy Doug airing down

With a little help from mother nature, but mostly manual labor Bob has cleared out some pretty decent trails with nothing but some shovels, picks and a rototiller.

Pretty nice guy. He doesnt charge you to come out and wheel. If you have a few bucks there is a donation jar. If you can a 6pack is greatly appreciated after the day is over.

    Some of the trails:

Doug's run up one of the harder trails.

Pretty cool place we probably spent 4 or 5 hours there. was having a good time.

    only a little carnage:

    Jason's tire

    and my rear bumper

Like i mentioned its a pretty cool place i definitely will be going back out now that i know whats up out there. Its mostly steep loose technical stuff but it is fun as all get out.
I spent most the time with the incolmeter pegged out in one direction or another.

not 100% sure how much a difference the limited slip in the front made since i havent wheeled there before, but it felt a lot better. Had one section i about flopped it 4 times tring to get up a pretty bad hill. definitely locking up the rear sooner than later.

Nope since i changed out the radiator and fixed the transmission solenoids everything seems to be working pretty good.

Going to try and get the thing geared this summer and try a run up to the Sierras to see how it handles grades

Does that pushbar not get in the way when trying to get the front wheels up on stuff?

Guess it didn't matter here though.

    Nope not yet anyway.
I just put it on there to mount some lights. Then i found out the lights wouldn't Fit. oops.

Of course of it did hit, i would just keep going till it either fell off or moved itself out the way.
Kind of like the rear bumper.

    Real bumpers coming soon.
