'Nado is a retired racing greyhound . . . he lost a toe at the track after ~2 months of racing. He looks kinda goofy in the second pic because he's squinting.

Another pic, before he got grey

Here are a couple of out Pooch
His Name is Beethoven, or as my grandfather would call him Torbeto, Don't ask.
I just call him pooch when he is around and Beethoven when I really need him to listen
He is 16 years old and he is a German Shepherd/Yellow Lab Mix

I have his bone in my hand and he is about ready to pounce on me lol

Him eating the crumbs from his treat of the day:

Poor pooch is starting to show his age a little more these days.
Bladder issue, partially deaf, I think this may be due to the Lyme's Disease but every now and then his back legs will give way.

He hasn't shown any sign of pain, and he still can jump as high as he used to 5 years ago but the issue is there.

Just when I'm praising my dog and showing him off, he ends up eating my $80 gaming mouse last night. Grrrrr. But still gotta love him.

Pooch looks good for 16. I hope mine are around for that long.

Yeah the pooch is a strong willed dog.
There was a german sheaperd half his age and almost twice his size that got through are screen and attacked him and he was still good.
Its gonna be sad when he does eventually leave us, but we are enjoying his company as much as we cah

    Re: Pet photos

not to hijack this thread, but i have sad news. today we found our cat charlie dead in the orange grove that is behind our property. he had been killed and partially eaten by a coyote. i had the lovely job of scooping what was left and burying him. one of the saddest days in recent memory.

it is apparent to me that all of the above animals mean the world to their respective families. take good care of them, it sucks when you lose them, especially after only 2 years of life.

rest in peace little guy! we loved you very much!
