it will...until the $400 fish dies.

i used to be a manager of an aquarium store. my degree is in aquatic biology and im still intrested in pursuing aquaculture (in Hawaii ).

for marine tanks, a larger tank is more enviromentally stable (=easier to maintain)

I agree....when you get all the supplies you need and everything flows smoothly, especially in a reef tank, then the maintenance gets much easier.

Well I need the lighting for that...that may come next weekend. I should have it done by the next year or so!

hey J how do you know whether the other fish in your tank will accept the new fish? do you ask someone or a website or something??

my old tank had a tiger-looking fish (cant remember the name) and an oscar... the oscar was larger but the tiger fish would bite him and chase him into the rocks... so the oscar eventually went a little crazy and JUMPED out of the tank during feeding time.. we put him back in but he died a few days later.

I always check www.liveaquaria.com and they have a chart posted beside the fish that tells their diets, lighting, temperament, and other things too that may be helpful. I always shoot for the peaceful ones instead of the aggressive, semi-aggressive ones.
