Well I placed my order for my tires today I am going from 285 BFG MT's to the NEW 305 Mickey Thompson MTZ's. It will be a little while before I get them but I will post up pics as soon as they are on.

Looking nice!
Do you have any rubbing issues?
OR
Do those LC rims help with that issue?
The reason I ask is because Blake posted a thread about 285s rubbing with the stock rims.
And since you have upgraded to 305s then I presume you don't have any rubbing issues.

Correct I have no rubbing because of the LC wheels.
Hey guys,
I saw these in person yesterday and they look awesome! Definitely gonna go with these for my next set.
If anybody wants some 285 BFG M/T's with about 3/4 tread left on em let me know,

Those tires look sick! How are they for on road manners?

on-road they are MUCH quieter than my MT/R's ever were, and they were "quiet" for an off-road tire. they balance very well and seem to do OK in rain/wet conditions. also, they're have a very good treadwear - approx 35k to 40k miles should be expected on a 4Runner according to the manufacturer and two different vendors that i talked w/ before buying mine. that's about the same as i was getting from MT/R's.
