Messing around with some "urban" post-processing

I've been messing around some testing the waters with some post-processing. Mainly going for a cool urban theme; I tried to keep the pictures gritty, crisp, low in saturation, and high in contrast. You can see some of the original pictures here: http://www.ultimateyota.com/index.ph...6&topic=7375.0

Well, for the coloring it basically a mix of tweaking the hue/saturation, shadow/highlight, and brightness/contrast. I ended up going through a few iterations to find the combination I was looking for. The convenient thing is you can make a macro to duplicate the effect once you get the right combo.

For the border I cheated and found a freeware border generating macro. I went through several until I found one that had the gritty look I was going for.
