This was a friends project vehicle that never got completed and has less than 9000 miles on the odometer. I has been in storage for over 2 years now and he finally wanted it gone. He already pulled the front diff out and was making it 2WD with plans to run a built 3.4 with twin turbos.
The vehicle is in near perfect condition, except there is no engine, transmission, radiator, or ECU other than that it's complete.
My plans are to install the 4.0L with 6-speed transmission that is sitting inside my garage into it. Unfortunately I won't be able to fit the front diff back in due to clearance issues. So for now it will stay, street only, however I also plan to install one of URD's superchargers as well....hehe the need for them brakes.

the best part is this post was right next to paddlenbike's post about a 2000 4runner limited for $5
that is a beefy axle though... should be interesting to see what happens with that 1gr ... those things have a MESS of wires though, so it should be fun sorting those out (ive been inspecting Milton's race truck and the 1gr in it... lots of wires, but a very sick swap)

I have the complete vehicle wiring harness and all electronics from the 2005 Tacoma that the engine came from. Electronics and wiring is my specialty, so I doubt I'll have a problem drawing up a new harness. I may just try to wire the engine to run off the existing ECU and system or I may just pull the whole harness out and replace it with the donor one.
