One of my main worries is bleeding out or tending to someone that is or may. Reading a lot and seeing pictures from the Boston Marathon bombing has me thinking I should look into adding some items that may help. Gaping and sucking wounds are something I've read about but have no training on handling. I maybe worrying too much but that stuff scares the crap out of me.

Pills are labeled. Asprin, Advil, Motrin, Tylenol PM (sometimes when I'm on the road I need to sleep), benadryl.


Abdominal pads and sponges to control bleeding and add pressure.


Reference guide, mirror, razor blade, flashlight, mole skin, lighter, chap stick, childrens medicine with instructions, pepto tablets. Paper and pencil.


Iodine wipes, swabs, extra gloves and bio bag.


Band aids (all types and sizes), nail clippers, wire splint and magnifying card.





I want/need a larger bag but I want a flatter one that has more capacity.
